A historic milestone was achieved today in Abuja as 9JaFoodFiesta officially launched one of the most ambitious youth empowerment programs in Nigeria’s history.

The inaugural event, held at the prestigious Sandralia Hotel, marks the beginning of a bold movement aimed at training and empowering 72,000 Nigerian youths across the country.

With a strategic vision to impact 2,000 youths in each of Nigeria’s 36 states, 9JaFoodFiesta is more than just an initiative — it’s a movement. The program focuses on four critical sectors for national development: Culinary Arts, Agriculture, Fashion Design and Information & Communication Technology (ICT).

At today’s launch, over 2,000 youths in Abuja were present as they set to begin their journey toward professional empowerment, receiving world-class training across various sectors:

• 500 Aspiring Chefs were enrolled to master the art of culinary excellence.
•800 Farmers to begin learning innovative agricultural practices on Poultry and Fishery to revolutionize food production.
•700 Future ICT Experts started developing critical tech skills to meet the demands of the digital economy.
Each participant will undergo comprehensive training programs tailored to industry standards and will be issued certificate of training from the various skills they learn. The certificate will not only validate their newly acquired skills but also open doors to employment, entrepreneurship, and further career development.
The program stands as a testament to the potential of Nigerian youth and the power of structured, large-scale empowerment.
9JaFoodFiesta is not just about skills; it’s about building dreams, transforming communities, and empowering a generation to take control of their future.

This launch event sets the tone for a future where Nigeria’s youth are not just recipients of aid but active drivers of economic growth, innovation, and national development.
