KATSINA CERTIFICATION AND A BIG UPDATE FOR JIGAWA STATE THIS FEBRUARY!

Happy February! At 9jaFoodFiesta, we believe that every month brings a new opportunity to change lives. Today, we are starting the month with a Progress on Katsina State Certification process, while also preparing the ground for our next big move in Jigawa State.

If you have been part of our skills training movement, this is the update you’ve been waiting for!

Following our massive training in Katsina, we noticed the need to further secure our certification process. We believe that a 9jaFoodFiesta certificate should be a badge of honor that only those who sat through the training and did the work should carry.

To protect your hard work, we made the bold decision to enhanced security features.

As many of you know, we moved to an LGA-based pickup system to ensure every genuine participant is identified correctly.

• First Batch Success: We are pleased to announce that we are almost through with the distribution of the First Batch! Seeing so many of you successfully pick up your personalized certificates across your various Local Governments has been the highlight of our week.
• The Second Batch (Batch B): We know we initially hoped to have the second wave out in January. However, to ensure the printing and sorting are 100% accurate, the Second Batch is now officially scheduled for distribution this February.

We appreciate your patience. We are not just sharing paper; we are ensuring that your name is correctly recorded in our national database for future empowerment opportunities.

What’s Next? The Jigawa State Countdown
While we are finalizing the Katsina distribution, our eyes are also on Jigawa State.

The demand for our free skills training in Jigawa has been overwhelming. We are currently “checking the possibilities”—scouting the best venues and coordinating with local partners to set a date that works for everyone.

Why we haven’t disclosed the date yet:
We want to learn from our previous sessions to make the Jigawa experience our best one yet. We are finalizing logistics to ensure a smooth  training process.
