Agriculture Training Begins in Jigawa; Fashion, ICT and Culinary Arts Are Yet to Commence Due to Venue Constraints
The year 2026 has officially begun on a powerful and purposeful note as 9ja Food Fiesta kicks off its first skills training program of the year in Jigawa State.
Day 1: Setting the Pace
On February 14th, participants gathered with excitement, optimism, and a shared desire to grow. The atmosphere reflected more than just the start of a program, it marked the beginning of a journey toward empowerment and self-reliance.
The energy in the classroom signals a promising journey ahead for these trainees.
Update on Fashion, ICT & Culinary Arts Training:
While the Agriculture program has successfully commenced, training sessions for Fashion, ICT, and Culinary Arts are yet to begin.
This temporary delay is due to ongoing efforts to secure adequate and conducive venues for these departments. At 9ja Food Fiesta, quality delivery remains a priority. The team is working tirelessly to ensure that when lectures begin, trainees will have access to proper facilities that support effective, hands-on learning.
We appreciate the patience of all registered trainees in these departments and assure them that updates will be communicated promptly once venues are finalized.
Building Skills, Building Futures
The Jigawa training marks another significant step in our mission to empower youths, women, and communities through practical, life-changing skills.
By equipping participants with knowledge in agriculture, technology, fashion, and culinary arts, 9ja Food Fiesta continues to foster entrepreneurship, self-reliance, and sustainable development one state at a time.
