At 9JaFoodFiesta, our mission has always been clear — to empower Nigerians with practical, market-driven skills that lead to real economic transformation. In continuation of this vision, we are proud to announce our next major empowerment program, in partnership with the Office of the First Lady of Jigawa State, Her Excellency Hajiya Hadiza Umar Namadi.

This incredible initiative is set to train 2,000 youths, women, and persons with disabilities across key sectors that are vital for sustainable growth and self-reliance. These sectors include:

• Information and Communication Technology (ICT)

• Culinary Arts

• Fashion Design

• Agriculture — with special focus on Fishery and Poultry Farming

Launch Details

The empowerment program will be officially launched on May 10th, 2025, at the Manpower Development Institute, Dutse, the capital of Jigawa State. Following the launch event, intensive hands-on training will commence from May 14th to June 5th, 2025.

This partnership reflects a shared commitment between 9JaFoodFiesta and the Office of the First Lady to uplift communities and drive inclusive economic development in Jigawa State. It is especially targeted at the underserved — women, the youth, and persons living with disabilities — ensuring that no one is left behind in Nigeria’s journey toward prosperity.
