When empowerment meets creativity, the results are powerful. For Saratu A. B. Chiroma, being part of the 9jafoodfiesta Empowerment Program in Katsina was more than just training — it was a turning point.
She shared:
“It’s really a great privilege having the opportunity to be a partaker during the training. I’m practicing my skill already and I see myself as the CEO of an elegant fashion house in few years’ time by God’s grace. I also hope to have an organization that will offer free skills to society, just as I was trained. 9jafoodfiesta has motivated me and will continue being my inspiration till my dream comes true, so help me God!”
To showcase her passion, Saratu designed a simple yet powerful dress in blue fabric, boldly inscribed with:
“Capacitated 9jafoodfiesta @ Katsina State 2025.”
This design is more than just fabric — it’s a statement of growth, resilience, and vision. It reflects how training doesn’t just transfer skills; it sparks identity and inspires dreams.
Saratu’s journey is a reminder that empowerment isn’t about where you start, but how you choose to express what you’ve learned. For her, the dress is a symbol of ownership of her future and gratitude to the platform that made it possible.
We believe this is only the beginning of her story — one stitch at a time, she’s building the elegant fashion house of her dreams.
